Merida eSpresso CC 300 EQ SE Electric Hybrid Bike (2026)

A low step-through frame with rugged dirt track ability - and all at an amazing price. We've used our know-how to create a quality aluminium frame with great handling, integrating a refined Shimano EP5 drive unit and all powered by an easy-to-remove 418 Wh externally mounted battery. A suspension fork and fat tyres helps to tame the bumps and add control, while hydraulic disc brakes and a quality Shimano drivetrain have the hills taken care of, up or down.

The eSPRESSO CC range is the rugged sibling of the regular eSPRESSO CITY, with wider and grippier high-volume tyres on 650b wheels. While it's happy working hard in the urban jungle thanks to standard-fit mudguards, lights, lock, rack and kickstand, it's also capable of taking trips along forest trails and gravel tracks for fun. Featuring the super-strong low step-through ENERGY CRADLE frame design that gives the bike the necessary rigidity, the eSPRESSO CC models are equipped with a 712, 630 or 504 Wh fully-integrated battery. All come with a refined but powerful Shimano EP6 STEPS pedal-assist motor, delivering 85 Nm of torque. Smooth and comfortable progress is assured with suspension forks on all models, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes allow effortless and controlled stopping. All have a high system weight of 150 kg which means plenty of capacity for rider and luggage.
